Alana De La Garza, an amazing actress, has left a mark on the television. The year was 1976. De La Garza was born to a Mexican American father and an Irish-American mother from Columbus Ohio. Within a short time she made the move to Texas where she pursued a physical therapy degree at University of Texas. De La Garza moved from Texas to Florida, Orlando and was involved in numerous character roles. This included independent local films, as well as world-wide commercials. Although she only had a few roles, De La Garza quickly realized her love for acting. Following her move in New York, in 2001, Rosa Santos earned her first role as an actor on All My Children. Through the initial decade of 2000, she played minor roles on JAG Las Vegas and Two and a Half Men. She landed her major role in 2004's miniscule dramatic The Mountain. De La Garza played Maria Serrano along with some of the greatest TV actors like Barbara Hershey Oliver Hudson Penn Badgley Mitch Pileggi and Mitch Pilegge. Her most memorable role took place in the year 2006 on Law & Order where she was A.D.A. Connie Rubirosa. The actress was on the show for 85 episodes. The character she played on her Law & Order: LA spinoff was only a few episodes. De La Garza has been nominated to win several awards, including the award for Best Supporting Actress-TV from the Imagen Foundation Awards as well as several ALMA Award nominations. She won an Impact Award in 2008 for her performance that stood out on dramatized television shows from National Hispanic Media Coalition. De La Garza landed a regular role on CSI Miami a few moments after. She was Marisol Delko, the wife of the character of David Caruso Horatio Caine. In the role of Dr. Lena Solis, she was last seen in the NBC drama Do No Harm. The series was canceled after only two episodes. Alyssa Milano.............................Alyssa Jayne Milano was born on December 19 1972 in the Bensonhurst section of Brooklyn New York City to fashion designer and talent manager Lin Milano and film-music editor Thomas M. Milano. Milano has an Italian father, as well as a brother Cory that is one years younger than her. Her family was one of the most religious, conservative families. Milano was able to begin her career in the age of seven when her childsitter brought her along to an audition to act. The audition she took part in was one of over 1,000 hopefuls. She was selected to be one of the four girls. Milano appeared in advertisements at Broadway and in television commercials which included the American musical version of Jane Eyre.
